Smuyuq’wa Lelum is the Tsawwassen First Nation Early Childhood Education Centre.
We offer full and part time daycare for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
Our Centre is located on the traditional land of the Tsawwassen First Nation. We are surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific coastland, and we draw much of the inspiration for our program from the natural world around us.

Our Centre provides daily inspiration for all children to explore their world through play, language, socialization, and discovery. We create a playful, stimulating, inclusive environment where all children have a variety of opportunities in which to imagine, discover and belong.
We offer a preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds.

Our Preschool is a structured, theme-based program with daily opportunity for independent play, cooperative play, and whole group learning.  Many of our themes reflect the natural world around us, and our program includes Henqueminum language and culture teachings that represent the traditional ways of the Coast Salish People. We create a classroom environment for children to understand the world around them, and we strive to provide a classroom experience where children can make meaning out of the world they live in.
